F.A.Q.
frequently asked questions
What is the expected turn-around time for a custom order?
I take orders on first-come-first-served basis. Considering the time the ceramic process takes, the volume of orders in queue, and the care that I give each individual piece it's about 4-8 weeks to complete.
If you have a specific date in mind please order early to ensure a prompt arrival.
For more shipping info check the shipping page.
When is the deadline for Christmas orders?
I begin taking holiday orders in October. I will announce a Holiday cut-off date in the announcement, after that there is no guarantee for a Christmas delivery. Order early to reserve your space.
Can you do rush orders?
While I am unable to expedite the ceramic process, you can purchase a "Rush Order" listing in the shop to prioritize your position in the queue and move to the front of the line.
How do I upload images?
You can upload images at checkout.
Are your products lead-free?
Yes! All of the functional pottery is created using non-toxic, food-safe materials.
Sizing details
The mugs are standard sized, holding about 12 fluid ounces.
Care instructions
All mugs are safe for use in the dishwasher and microwave. The colors are resistant to scratching, peeling, or fading. Please be aware that items with 22K gold additions are not suitable for use in the dishwasher or microwave.
Handle all items with care, as ceramics are fragile and can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All mugs include a gift box.
What if I want to change the way my custom order looks?
I keep customers involved throughout the process and go to great lengths to make sure people get what they want.
If the coloring is not a perfect match I can touch it up and add it to my next glaze firing free of charge.
If the issue is not on my end (e.g. you changed your mind about the photo you gave me or you ordered the flower crown variation but didn't want the flower crown after all.. etc.) I charge a remake fee of $20, the labor is free- it just covers the cost of materials, overhead (power used to fire the kiln), and restock of unwanted inventory.
